As Steve Harvey continues to dominate in his respective positions, in television and radio, a new report suggests there may be trouble in Harvey’s personal life.
In fact, according to @bossipofficial, Harvey’s personal business may be revealed in a new memoir written by his wife’s ex-husband and former drug kingpin, Jim Townsend.
“I wrote two-thirds of the book in prison,” Townsend said, adding that he planned to finish the book and shop it around. Although he initially “had reservations” about telling his side of his story, which is said to include alleged details about his ex, Marjorie Harvey, he decided to go through with it, despite the effect it may have on his kids and his ex, who he claims to have no allegiance to.
“I have no allegiance to Marjorie, she showed her hand,” Townsend said. “I’m going…tell my story. It don’t matter [if she knows about it]. I’m pouring my heart out. No one knows what happened but me and Marjorie.”
Townsend served 26 years of a life sentence before he was granted a pardon by forever president Barack Obama. He was arrested for trying to buy 40 kilos of coke, and his wife at the time, Marjorie was reportedly under investigation by the FBI and DEA over her alleged involvement in the drug ring. But, in the end, Marjorie was never charged and separated from Townsend less than five years into his sentence.
Now, in the wake of the forthcoming tell-all, sources say Steve is preparing for a “bitter divorce battle” as he reportedly removed his wife’s name from the deed to a house in Texas. But those rumors have yet to be confirmed. In fact, Marjorie responded with a recent Instagram post of her husband with his luxury cars.
