After years of legal back and forth between Matt Barnes and his ex-wife, #GloriaGovan, a judge has officially handed down a ruling in their custody case, and it looks like Govan will have to steer clear of her baby daddy for the next year and a half.
According to TMZ, Barnes has been granted an 18-month restraining order against Govan, after he proved her to be a physical danger to him. However, the order does not affect the kids as the judge did not believe she posed a threat to them.
But apparently, the judge did believe the former couple’s twin boys were better off with their dad and awarded Barnes sole physical and legal custody of the children.
As part of the new custody agreement, Govan will get visitation every other weekend from Friday to Monday morning, with scheduled dinner every Wednesday. In the meantime, holiday arrangements are still being worked out.
Govan will also have to complete 26 sessions of anger management and 10 parenting classes under the new agreement.
