McDonald’s— now why you playing games with us?
On Tuesday, the fast-food chain posted a cryptic teaser on X, hinting that the cult-favorite Snack Wraps would return on “0x.14.2025.” And now fans are in shambles trying to figure out the release date.
The brand previously confirmed the wraps would be returning in 2025, with U.S. President Joe Erlinger telling Good Morning America in December, “It will be back in 2025.” But no official date had been announced sort of until now.

While “0x” leaves the actual month a mystery, the “14” strongly suggests a mid-month drop. Fans have already begun speculating on social media.
Originally launched in 2006, the Snack Wrap became a quick hit, thanks to its crispy or grilled chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese, and signature sauces wrapped in a warm tortilla. It was discontinued in 2016, but its legacy has lived on through memes, petitions, and die-hard fans asking for its return.
This week’s post marked the first time McDonald’s hinted at a possible return date—albeit a vague one. With “0x” possibly standing in for any month, fans may be watching the 14th of every month until the big reveal.
For now, the only thing clear is that the Snack Wrap is coming back and McDonald’s is having fun keeping everyone guessing.
