McDonald’s is bringing its nostalgic McDonaldland back into the spotlight with a new limited-time meal.
Beginning August 12th, customers can order the McDonaldland Meal, a release inspired by the colorful world first introduced in the company’s commercials during the early 1970s.
McDonaldland was the whimsical setting for characters including Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar.
The meal offers a choice between two signature entrees. Customers can select a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, both served with fries.
The highlight of the new meal is the debut of the Mt. McDonaldland Shake, described as drawing its colors from the “blue lava and pink clouds” of McDonaldland’s volcano.
Each McDonaldland Meal also includes a collectible souvenir tin. Every tin contains postcards and stickers featuring designs of the classic McDonaldland characters. Six unique tin designs are available, giving fans multiple variations to look for.
The McDonaldland Meal blends familiar menu items with a touch of the brand’s history, offering long-time customers a trip down memory lane while introducing new guests to one of McDonald’s most memorable eras.
