McDonald’s is set to provide free medium-sized French fries every Friday, requiring a minimum purchase of $1 through their mobile app. This promotion will be applicable at select McDonald’s stores and will continue until December 31st. Customers can take advantage of this free fries offer once each Friday. However, there are a few conditions to keep in mind.

To redeem this offer, fry-lovers will need to enroll in the McDonald’s app’s rewards program. Once registered, individuals must place an order with a minimum value of $1. On the app, customers should navigate to the “deals” section, choose the “Free Fries Friday” deal, and then click on “Add Deal to Mobile Order.”

Customers must also ensure they have contactless payment set up, utilizing any major credit card that has been added to their account. Following these simple steps, individuals can then collect their order at any participating McDonald’s restaurant. It’s worth noting that this offer can only be claimed once per customer every Friday.

Nevertheless, McDonald’s is not the first to provide complimentary fries to its loyalty program members. In April 2022, Burger King initiated a promotion where it started providing free fries once a week with any meal for its Royal Perks members. This offer was later extended in January 2023 and has now been extended once more, stretching through the remainder of the year.
