The allegations questioning Meek Mill’s sexuality have sparked a separate beef with DJ Akademiks.
The two sprawled online this week after Diddy’s latest lawsuit surfaced online. In the claim, songwriter Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accused Diddy of sexually harassing him several times by touching him inappropriately and seemingly trying to entice him to have sex. Jones stirred up the music industry when he named several associates in the suit, such as Cuba Gooding Jr. and a cousin of Yung Miami, who tried to sleep with him. In another section of the suit, Jones claimed that a Philadelphia rapper who once dated Nicki Minaj also had sexual relations with Diddy and was at least present around sex workers and underage girls. Though it didn’t mention him by name, the description made it pretty obvious who Jones was speaking about. Akademiks used his live stream to dissect the court docs, taking a specific interest in Meek’s involvement and sexuality. This angered the DreamChasers founder, who made shocking accusations towards Ak.
Across several tweets, Meek accused Akademiks of being “an alcoholic fully powered by the white man.” He also called his opp a “sick black man with no life.” At one point, Meek even urged his followers to provide Ak’s home address.
Akademiks didn’t I tell you stop playing with my name… idk what ima do when I actually see you! It’s gonna have a combination to it tho!

Akademiks fired back, accusing Meek of being on drugs and questioning why it appears he does not get hostile with people from his city when they have conflict. He also called out the “Championship” rapper for allowing himself to be mistreated by white man, writing in one tweet, “You Bunny Hop for Michael Rubin, Robert Kraft and get called ‘BOY’ by billionaires. You they house n***a slave.”
Meek really gotta be on drugs tho… nigga i been chill on that nigga. Dean and half of Philly drove to my studio tryna expose that nigga in a interview.. i turned the interview down off the strength of 21 savage who tried to patch stuff up w me and him before.

Akademiks would ultimately express that he doesn’t believe Meek is gay. However, he did find it odd that Meek seemingly blamed him for being listed in the lawsuit.
Lol… honestly I dont even think Meek gay..but its weird asf he got on Elon Musk twitter to blame me for what a lawsuit said and promote a song lol.. dawg u know u can just say 'Thats not true. They're lying' .. bruh done dropped his trailer more times than soundcloud link like…

On Thursday, Meek took things a step further when he seemed to threaten violence against Akademiks. “Ima show you who I am,” he wrote. In a separate tweet, he promised, “I’m coming,” and “I’ll die to shut down.” Many of Meek’s tweets have been deleted, as he claims the governor encouraged him to do so. Instead, he has now turned his attention to his new EP, “Heathenism.”
