Megan Thee Stallion is ready to move on with her life after the drama that has followed her for the past three years.
The “Savage” star spoke with Billboard about her recent endeavors and shared that she is optimistic about moving on from her past, which includes the infamous Tory Lanez shooting.
“I feel like I’m finally closing all the old chapters, and now I’m starting with a blank slate. Very fresh, very new. I think the Hotties are gonna be so excited,” she shared. This includes new music, her first release this year being “Bongos” alongside Cardi B, who has become a close friend to her in recent years.
“Friendship-wise, she’s just so real,” she shared about the rapper, later adding, “I feel like I definitely get to see the real her. She’s just so nice, and she’s really a kind person. That’s what I really like about her. And she just raw.”
Cardi shares similar feelings for Meg during a recent episode of the “Spout” podcast, saying he feels “very special” for the bond she shares with Meg, who has been the victim of public outrage and scrutiny after being shot by Lanez in 2020.
Aside from Cardi, Meg also addressed the Justin Timberlake VMA run-in once again. She’d already cleared up the argument gossip but did admit she was shocked when she heard the N’SYNC star say “real hot girl sh**” in their now-viral TikTok.
The Houston Hottie seems to be in a better space and told her fans that they should “expect the unexpected” from her very soon.
