Mia Thornton, once a familiar face on “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” has found herself in serious legal trouble. The reality star was arrested on Wednesday at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and taken to Fulton County Jail on a felony larceny charge.
According to authorities, Thornton is accused of stealing approximately $11,000 worth of furniture and a television from a furnished condo in Atlanta. Police say she vacated the property in the middle of the night without notifying the owner, who later reported the items missing.
Police bodycam footage shows Thornton being taken into custody at the airport.
Thornton recently moved to Atlanta after announcing in April that she was stepping away from “RHOP” following four seasons on the show. In a social media post, she told fans, “This next chapter is already full of exciting opportunities, and I can’t wait to take you all along for the ride. Big things are coming.”
So far, her team has not responded.
