Virginia is not just for lovers but the home of many of our favorite entertainers. The state has produced some of the hottest from Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Pharrell, Pusha T, and more.
While in town for Pharrell’s ‘Something In The Water Festival,’ Missy stopped by her alma mater, Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, Virginia, to surprise students and staff.
Elliott toured the school to see how much the school had changed since the 90s when she graduated, but the iconic producer couldn’t leave her former high school without making a $25K donation.
Missy insisted the school use the donation however they please but as long as the funds go to that particular school only, according to Wavy 10 News.
