Over the weekend, a video surfaced of Miami Dolphins’ offensive line coach Chris Foerster, snorting a white powder before a meeting. Just one day after its release, Foerster stepped down from his position, as the team continued its investigation into the video. ⠀⠀⠀
Now, just hours after the news of Foerster’s resignation surfaced, the model behind the release has spoken out about the incriminating video. According to the NY Post, Kijuana Nige said she released the video over the increased tensions concerning the national anthem. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“I have plenty of white friends so I’m not making this a race issue. People are missing the point,” she wrote, in a now-deleted comment. “My point is everyone has to be held accountable for their decisions. They roast players over anthems, while the coaches be high as sh*t and probably can’t sing along.”
“The white people mad at me like I forced blow down this man’s nose and like I recorded it on tha low,” Nige wrote on Facebook. “No those are his habits and he recorded himself and sent it to me professing his love. So quick to make excuses for him but will roast a minority player over an anthem, dog fight, weed, domestic issues etc. But ya’ll keep saying ALL LIVES MATTER STFU!!” she added.
Although Foerster has resigned, the organization has offered to get the former coach the help he needs.
