With Momma Dee by his side, Scrappy recalled a memory of his mom bringing strippers to his birthday party, a moment that shaped his childhood forever.
“My mama had strippers in there, for my 14th birthday party,” he recalled. When the girls returned with their parents, Dee didn’t back down.
“All the mamas came back like, ‘Hold on,’” Scrappy said. “[Dee] was like, ‘Yeah, this my house though … If you got a son in here that don’t need to be in here, please take him out.’”
Momma Dee recalled, “I stood my ground, ten toes down. ‘Please call them out, get them up out of here. We doing some things.’”
Even with the pushback, the party kept going.
“All the girls came back. We continued the party. Bro, I wasn’t even looking for nothing like that, bro. I was sitting there, like, the whole time like, ‘Strippers?’ … I look back at it though—that was traumatizing,” Scrappy admitted, making Cannon laugh.
Momma Dee jokingly asked, “So you said p***y was traumatizing?” Scrappy, flustered, admitted that therapy has helped him see it differently.
Bee chimed in, “Most 14-year-olds is getting bikes or something for their birthday. You giving this n***a b***hes.”
Momma Dee defended her choices, saying, “Nothing against the LGBT community, but I just wanted him to chase p***y than tote a purse.”
The story shows how unconventional parenting and neighborhood life shaped Scrappy’s teen years.
