Mountain Dew is reintroducing its “fan-favorite” Typhoon flavor.
DEWmocracy announced Tuesday that it would be bringing back the “highly requested” flavor after a 10-year hiatus.
Fans must be members of Dew HQ, the brand’s free rewards program, to taste a sip of the pinkish-orange beverage.
Starting June 1, members can get single 16-ounce cans of Mtn Dew Typhoon for $12 at the Dew Store after joining the Dew team.
This limited-edition release will only be available while supplies last, with each consumer, limited to two cases per order.
“The throwback flavor strikes again — MTN DEW TYPHOON is back. A storm of refreshing fruity punch on your taste buds,” the announcement said.
According to the Mountain Dew Wiki, the drink (formerly known as Flavor #509) was initially offered in 2010 as a finalist during the DEWmocracy II promotion and then again for a short period in 2011.
