MSCHF is finishing their second exhibit, “Art 2,” at Perrotin’s New York gallery, following their “No More Tears, I’m Lovin’ It” show in late 2022.
The exhibition is set to showcase “a series of installations bound by the theme of a second act,” as described officially. “In Tinseltown, where sequels seem inevitable, MSCHF takes on the role of superhero and villain.”
MSCHF’s exhibition features 249 replicas of Picasso’s “Le Poisson” sculpture and a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser known as Drop #84 Key4All, which traveled to Truckee, California, with various drivers, now displayed as “Public Universal Car.”
According to reports, MSCHF will also showcase Bootlegs, featuring images of the viral Big Red Boot fitted on hairy legs. Additionally, they will present Microscopic Handbags, tiny versions of luxury accessories created through 3D printing, referencing signature bags from Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Hermes, Jacquemus, and Telfar.
Last week, edible Apple AirPods invitations were also sent out to add a creative touch.
Fans can check out MSCHF’s Art 2 exhibition from April 6 to June 1 at Perrotin Los Angeles.
