Rap icon Nas has found himself in the middle of a lover’s quarrel, as he has been accused of sleeping with another man’s woman.
Initially, the man confronted Nas about his sex-capades in a letter, but now, it appears he’s made the letter public in an effort to clear his own conscience.
In the letter and subsequent interview with Page Six, Hip-Hop DJ and producer DJ Nabs shared the details of his relationship with his girlfriend, Jessica Santos, and revealed how he discovered the secret relationship between her and Nas.
“On May 19th, 2018 after my performance in Atlanta with the Youngbloodz, my girlfriend didn’t come home one night,” he wrote in the letter. “After confronting her and getting the silent treatment, I discovered on my own, texts and emails, that [proved] she had a sexual relationship” with Nas, since 2014.
He said that when he confronted Santos with the evidence, “she defiantly admitted to sleeping with [the rapper] the night she didn’t come home,” claiming that she and him “were over” at the time. Besides that, she said “the sexual texts are a minuscule part of our friendship.”
As he continued with his explanation to the publication, he said when the two got together, he, himself, was a married man and Santos had just gotten out of a relationship with another man – who also accused her of cheating with Nas. However, he claims he ignored the signs. Instead, he “accepted Nas was a friend of hers,” but later realized, “she was sleeping with Nas during our relationship.”
Now he believes it’s time to clear his conscience and “free himself” from the guilt of stepping out on his marriage. In fact, he wanted to use the public letter to publicly apologize to his wife for leaving her for Santos.
“He knows I was with Jessica,” he said of Nas. “He knows I left my wife…I’m sitting in this situation betrayed by both of them, and I don’t owe them anything.”
