Ne-Yo Says He Doesn’t Overexpose His Children to His Polyamorous Lifestyle [Video]

Ne-Yo is shedding more light on his polyamorous relationships while also addressing how his baby mamas feel about his lifestyle.

The “So Sick” singer sat down with TT Torrez, opening up about co-parenting with Monyetta Shaw, Crystal Renay, and Sade Bagnerise. While he admits they may not agree with his choices, he emphasized that their shared priority is the well-being of their children.

“We ain’t got to be the best of friends all the time. As long as our kids know love and they’re properly taken care of on every forefront, then that’s the only thing that we just need to agree on. And that’s where we stand at,” he explained.

The conversation then shifted to Bagnerise, mother of his two youngest children, who previously criticized him for having their kids around his multiple partners. Ne-Yo clarified that while his kids are aware of his partners, he’s careful about maintaining boundaries.

“When you say things like that, you make it seem like there’s things going on around children that ain’t supposed to go on around children. And that’s not the case. That is not the case at all,” he said. “Now, mind you, I don’t lie to my children about what my relationship is. They definitely know that daddy has more than one girlfriend. They definitely know that. But you do not discuss with children things that you’re not supposed to talk to children about. You know what I’m saying? You don’t do things in front of children that children ain’t supposed to see.”

Despite the criticism, Ne-Yo says he is content with his lifestyle and is focused on supporting the women in his life.
