NeNe Leakes‘ relationship with Nyonisela Sioh has come to an end, sort of.
In part 1 of her interview on the Reality with the King podcast hosted by former Real Housewives of Atlanta producer Carlos King, the 55-year-old reality star revealed that she is currently not in a relationship with Nyonisela Sioh.
“Today, we are taking a break. We’ve been taking a break,” Leakes said. “It’s … things I’m not happy with, things he’s not happy with. It’s just not working at the moment. He is single so if any of the ladies out there want to holla at him, go right ahead.”
In December 2021, rumors began circulating of Leakes being romantically linked to Sioh after they were spotted leaving a Miami Beach restaurant while holding hands. Subsequently, a source confirmed that the two were indeed dating, making it the reality star’s first relationship since her husband Gregg Leakes’ passing.
In January 2022, Leakes expressed affection for her boyfriend on Instagram by posting several photos of the fashion designer on her Story, accompanied by a heartfelt message. She wrote, “The way you love on me & take care of me…grateful!” showcasing her appreciation for his care and attention in their relationship.
A few months later, the couple made a public appearance together at the 2022 BET Awards, walking the red carpet in coordinating midnight blue outfits. During the event, Leakes spoke openly about how her relationship with Sioh had been a source of support and comfort for her, particularly in coping with the loss of her husband.
“I can’t say [Nyonisela] hasn’t helped me put a smile on my face,” she said before adding, “You have to be willing to be happy, and you have to make a lot of changes within yourself.”
