Nene Leakes has officially responded to rumors that she’s returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for Season 17, and her answer is not what fans were hoping for.
On a social media post shared by RealityBlurb, which reported that Leakes would not be coming back despite recent internet chatter, the talk show host confirmed this.
“They have NEVER offered me to return,” Leakes commented, shutting down speculation. The post also claimed Shereé Whitfield and Kim Zolciak were making comebacks. This has not been confirmed.
Leakes added, “Good luck to season 17 cast. We will be watching.”
Despite reconnecting with NBCUniversal in 2024 to host an Emmy after-party, Leakes’ lawsuit against Bravo in 2022 still casts a shadow. The suit was dismissed, but it’s unknown if relations remain strained.
For now, Leakes is focused on growing her own YouTube show, welcoming guests such as Tommy Lee, Erica Mena, Trick Daddy, and more.
