Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, and more are coming together to put on a huge comedy festival “Netflix Is A Joke.”
Ali Wong, Seinfield and more are set to perform as part of Netflix’s upcoming giant comedy festival, “Netflix is a Joke,” Deadline reports. The festival was pushed forward from 2020 after the eruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it’s been announced to take place from April 29, 2022, to May 8, 2022. The news outlet reports the festival will be held in 25 of Los Angeles’ largest and most popular venues.
Some of the comics slated to perform are Wanda Sykes, Chris Rock, Ali Wong, Ronny Chieng, Hasan Minhaj, Jerry Seinfeld, David Letterman, Amy Schumer and Tina Fey. Chappelle will also have his own set during the festival, and Gabriel Iglesias will headline the show.
Deon Cole, Jane Fonda, Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari, Seth Rogen, Pete Davidson, Ellen DeGeneres and more will also be taking the stage and laying in on some jokes. Tickets for Netflix Is A Joke will go on sale on December 10. Presale tickets will be available tomorrow (December 7), Deadline reports.
“We were so disappointed to postpone the event last spring and our line-up of comedians can’t wait to bring much-needed laughs to audiences in LA and around the world on Netflix,” said Netflix’s Stand-up and Comedy Formats director Robbie Praw to Deadline. “Netflix Is A Joke Festival is going to give comedy fans the opportunity to see the greats and discover new voices in one of the greatest cities in the world.”
