Ballerific Music: New Music Drops to Start Your Weekend from Offset, Kodak Black, Monaleo & More

This New Music Friday falls on Halloween, serving as a great way to kick off the spooky holiday. Thanks to Offset, we have new tunes to set the tone for the costumes.

The Migos star shocked fans with his new mixtape, “Haunted By Fame.” The project arrives just two months after his album “Kiari,” but this time, Offset is leaning into All Hallows’ Eve. Across 11 tracks, Offset raps over haunting production, with even the cover art showing the Atlanta staple appearing as a villain. He kept the features to a minimum, only bringing along NBA Youngboy, Lil Dump, and NoCap. Whether Offset is truly committed to this mixtape or simply creatively celebrating October 31, he sticks to the bars that his fans know and love.

Kodak Black also came through with a brand new album following a string of singles in recent months. “Just Getting Started” signals a new era for the Florida rapper, who recently hinted at leaving his label, Capitol Records, writing on Instagram, “Two More Albums Then I’m Out [peace sign].” No matter his future music plans, Yak still delivered a quality body of work. With 20 new cuts, he tapped rap heavy hitters Chance The Rapper, Pharrell Williams, Gunna, Lil Yachty, and Don Toliver. Press play on the introspective track one, “Project Blue,” and get swept up in the many ebbs and flows of this complex artist, whose talent has never wavered despite his personal battles.

Monaleo continues her winning streak with the highly anticipated remix of her hit “Putting Ya Dine.” For the new rendition of the single, NBA Youngboy joins the Texas lyricist on the song that is blowing up across social media. In true form, YB delivered, merging two of the South’s most beloved rising stars.

Elsewhere in music, Bun B, Brent Faiyaz, Boston Richey, and more have also dropped heat that’ll set the mood for those Halloween plans. Scroll below to update your playlist.
