Earlier this week, Baller Alert caught up with the New York Giants’ rookie star, Saquon Barkley, to talk fatherhood and his experience, so far, in the NFL.
During the conversation, Barkley also shared his most embarrassing moment that many may not have known. “I got tackled and my butt cheeks came out,” Barkley said, adding that, “Alot of people didn’t peep it though.”
Despite that one embarrassing moment though, Barkley has been dominating in his rookie season. In fact, on Sunday, the baller broke the Giants’ rookie rushing record in the team’s overtime win against the Chicago Bears. But with Barkley on pace to pass Odell Beckham Jr and Bill Paschal for the team’s touchdown and reception records, his accomplishments are not something he even thinks about when he’s on the field.
“You’re just so stuck in the moment,” Barkley said on Sunday. “Stuck in the season, trying to get better every single day.”
The New York Giants face off against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
