After Kanye West told Nick Cannon and a few other stars to keep Kim Kardashian’s name out of their mouth; the beef between the two is now settled.
In an interview on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Cannon shared thoughts on the situation calling it “Ye at his best,” implying it’s typical Kanye.
“I consider this dude a friend,” he added, “I stood up for him when it was the ‘slavery is a choice’ incident.”⠀⠀⠀
Cannon says the two have known each other for a while and expressed his happiness to see the rapper “return to his roots.” Kanye did, in fact, contact the Wild’ N Out creator to squash the beef but didn’t mention the rumor concerning Kim and Drake, according to Complex.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“We didn’t chop it up about the issue. It was more about, like, ‘man, its been a minute,’ and kind of getting back at it. That’s why I was like, ‘alright that video rant probably was more for the public,” Cannon explained. “I think a lot of it was pageantry, at the end of the day.”
