During a recent Instagram Live session, the rising artist revealed that some people in her comments were trying to provoke her into speaking negatively about the “Starships” superstar. She clarified that anyone attempting to elicit a nasty response from her is not a true fan of Minaj.
“They’re trying to get me to talk s**t, bro. N***as like to set up n***as because they’re not a real barb for real. They’re not a real barb, they’re not a real fan,” she stated.
Luanli has previously shared that she and Minaj were not particularly close growing up, as Minaj’s career took off during her childhood. In a “We In Miami” podcast interview earlier this year, Luanli expressed her desire to make her older sibling proud by establishing her own identity. She emphasized that she has no intention of speaking negatively about Minaj and considers herself one of her biggest supporters.
“I’m related…That’s the best thing I could ever be. What the f**k? I’m literally in the system, my n***a. I don’t have to be a fan if I’m in the system already. Y’all gotta call her Nicki. I call her Onika. There’s a difference. We’re never the same,” Luanli declared during the live session.
