Nicole Young asks for the Los Angeles Sheriff Department to help her collect the remaining $1.2 million from her estranged ex-husband, Dr. Dre.
According to Radar Online, Nicole’s team has filed a writ of execution against Dre. Young claims that the producer has only paid $300,000 of the $1.5 million court order & is refusing to pay the remaining $1.2 million despite court request.
“Andre is doing whatever he wants to do because he is an enormously entitled and well-funded litigant who seeks to exact revenge on his former wife by decimating her financially, leaving her without legal representation in this case,” Nicole says.
Dre says that he didn’t receive credit for the money he’s already given Young & is seeking for the judge to review the situation. However, Nicole’s legal team has gotten exhausted with waiting for their payment. This is what prompts the writ of execution against Dre.
The amount remaining is $1,224,607 and will gain interest of $335/ day. The Los Angeles Sheriff Department will more than likely help serve the papers. Nicole can then be able to move forward with collecting the funds.
Court documents show Nicole is asking for half of Dre’s estate and $4.3 million for legal fees. Nicole filed for divorce against Dre in July 2020 after accusing him of having multiple affairs.
