North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye, is set to show off her talent to audiences at the Hollywood Bowl as she joins the star-studded cast of “The Lion King” live concert production. At just ten years old, North will perform alongside notable talents such as Broadway’s original Nala, Heather Headley, Grammy winner Lebo M., and other veterans of the “Lion King” franchise, including Billy Eichner, Jeremy Irons, Bradley Gibson, and Nathan Lane. Adding to the glitz, Jennifer Hudson will also appear as a special guest.
While the specifics of North’s role in the production have not yet been disclosed, her prior entertainment experiences, including voicing Mini in “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie” and performing on stage with her father, suggest she’s ready for the spotlight.
This special event, set to take place on May 24 and 25, will be held at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. It promises to be a grand celebration of the “Lion King” legacy, featuring music and elements from the original 1994 film, the Broadway hit, and the 2019 live-action movie.
Tickets for “The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl” are currently on sale, with plans to later stream the performance as a Disney+ Original Special. North isn’t the only celebrity offspring involved in the Lion King’s universe; Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z, is also connected, having been cast in the upcoming “Mufasa” movie.
