During a recent broadcast, Ebro reacted to reports that Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. While he acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, he also revisited a personal story tied to a Super Bowl bet that still hasn’t been settled.
“He owes me $5,000. He does,” Ebro said. “Offset’s fine. I tried to call him last night. We bet on the Super Bowl in New Orleans. I bet $5,000. I was prepared to pay him $5,000. I’ve talked to him a thousand times since then and never jammed him up about $5,000 because clearly, he’s somebody who didn’t pay his bet. Like, why am I gonna chase you around about five grand? It’s not a big deal to me.”
Ebro framed the situation as minor in the grand scheme, emphasizing that their relationship outweighs the money. Still, his comments arrive as online chatter continues to connect Offset’s name to gambling conversations following the incident. Lil Tjay previously accused the Atlanta rapper of owing him $10,000 tied to gambling.
Offset’s team has attempted to steady concerns, confirming he is “fine” and “is currently at the hospital receiving medical care.”
Meanwhile, Lil Tjay was arrested and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, though his attorney, Dawn Florio, maintained he was not the triggerman in the shooting.
As details continue to unfold, the focus remains split between Offset’s recovery and the conversations building around him.
