Omarion is sharing some OG advice with DDG and Halle Bailey as the two continue their tense custody battle. The R&B singer, who’s no stranger to co-parenting struggles from his past with Apryl Jones, recently offered words of wisdom when caught by TMZ.
“Time heals, you know,” the 40-year-old said. “I think it’s important to always remain respectful and understand that y’all basically went 100/100 with creating something.”
Even though DDG and Bailey’s relationship has soured, Omarion believes reflecting the love they once shared could be key.
“Just remember you used to love each other, it’s important,” he added.
His remarks come right after the streamer filed an emergency court motion on June 4th, seeking to stop Bailey from taking their son, Halo, out of the country. He alleged Bailey was emotionally unstable, citing her use of tracking devices, alleged physical abuse, and messages accusing him of infidelity and threatening self-harm.
Bailey responded in court, saying, “I must be on set in Italy to film a movie. I am contractually bound to be there from June 7th, 2025, to August 4th, 2025. Darryl has known about this work obligation for months. This is my source of income, on which Halo and I rely to pay all bills.”
She also stated, “Darryl has not contributed any regular support since Halo was born…I cannot leave Halo with Darryl, as Darryl will be out of town a majority of those months.”
The judge ultimately denied DDG’s emergency request.
