A Pennsylvania man has been charged after decapitating his father and posting his head on YouTube.
The chilling incident unfolded Tuesday night in the quiet town of Middletown Township, Bucks County. Authorities say 32-year-old Justin Mohn brutally murdered his father, Michael F. Mohn. Michael’s body was located after his wife returned home to find his lifeless body in the family’s home. His head was wrapped in a plastic bag inside a pot. When police arrived, they discovered a plethora of bloody evidence throughout the house, including a machete, kitchen knife, rubber gloves, and other items.
Making matters worse, Michael’s wife is not the only person who had to witness the gory scene. After Justin killed and decapitated his father, he shared a video on YouTube holding his father’s head. In the 14-minute clip titled “Mohn’s Militia – Call to Arms for American Patriots,” Justin rambled about Michael being a federal employee who’d committed treason. He also slammed President Joe Biden and other politicians, amassing over 5,000 views before the video was removed from the platform.
Justin was taken into custody early Wednesday in Fort Indiantown Gap, about 100 miles from the residence. He now faces charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse, among others. While Justin’s motive for killing Michael is unknown, he has seemingly had a vendetta against the federal government for quite some time. He initiated at least three lawsuits against federal agencies, alleging their negligence led to his acquisition of student loans from 2010 until his completion of studies at Pennsylvania State University in 2014, according to NBC News.
Justin is being held without bond.
