Peter Thomas has found himself in some legal trouble after driving when he apparently had no business doing so.
The restauranteur and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum was arrested on Tuesday afternoon around 2:00 p.m.
Thomas was charged with multiple misdemeanors, including under the influence of alcohol, driving with expired tags, driving without a license, no proof of insurance, failure to maintain lane, and violation of a traffic control device. He was released the same day after posting a $3,000 bond.
Thomas may be free, but he certainly must be on his best behavior. Judge Che Karega II ordered the Bar One owner to stay away from alcohol, weed, and all other recreational drugs. To ensure Thomas abides by these conditions, Karega ordered that he undergo random substance screenings. He is also banned from owning firearms and must report any changes of address to the courts.
This is not Thomas’s first time having a run-in with the law in recent years. In 2019, he was arrested in Miami for fraud. Though, it appears he was later acquitted. Last year, he was also slammed by Bar One employees, who claimed Thomas failed to pay them. The outcome of that case is unclear.
Thomas has remained quiet on this arrest and actions leading up to it. Can’t lie; this would make for a great “RHOA” storyline.
