Philadelphia 76ers player Kelly Oubre Jr. was injured in a hit-and-run while walking near his home on Saturday night.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the 27-year-old suffered a broken rib and injuries to his hip and right leg, leading to hospitalization.

Police say that around 7:20 p.m., a speeding silver car struck Kelly as he walked near his home in Philadelphia City Center, hitting the baller in the chest with its driver’s side mirror before fleeing the scene.

According to WRTV, the car was traveling west on Spruce Street before it turned south onto Hicks Street, where it struck Oubre.

So far, no arrests have been announced.

The 76ers posted on social media that Kelly arrived at Jefferson Hospital in stable condition.

According to ESPN, he was released late Saturday night after receiving treatment.

The team announced that Kelly would miss significant playing time due to the recent injury. However, it is anticipated that he will return before the end of the season.
