Pooh Shiesty has been indicted on federal charges in connection to a 2020 shooting that took place in Florida– not to be confused with the shooting that took place in a Miami strip club over Memorial Day weekend.

In October 2020, the “Back in Blood” rapper and two friends — Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa — arranged a meet-up with two other individuals to purchase marijuana and high-end sneakers in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Things took a turn and the two individuals ended up getting shot in the hip and butt.

The Miami Herald reports that the rapper was hit with federal charges of Conspiracy to Possess Firearms in Furtherance of Violent Crime, Hobbs Act Robbery Conspiracy and Discharging a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence on June 25.

Investigators were able to connect Pooh to the crime thanks to his Instagram posts. A Louis Vuitton bag that fell out of the McLaren Pooh was driving at the time of the robbery was discovered at the scene which contained $100 bills that matched the serial number on the bills the rapper flaunted on Instagram. Investigators also found the same gun used in the robbery being flaunted on Darosa’s Instagram.
