As 2022 comes to a close, Popeyes is ending the year with a bang by bringing back its buy-one-get-one-free chicken sandwich deal.

The deal was such a hit on Cyber Monday the chicken chain has decided that fans need to experience the BOGO sandwiches once more before the year ends. Popeyes began dishing out the promo meal on December 19th, and it will run through January 1st. Customers can choose between the blackened, regular, or spicy variations and can mix and match.

To take advantage of the deal, all sandwiches must be ordered online or via the Popeyes app. Only mobile pick-up orders will be permitted with this coupon. In other words, don’t show up to the restaurant hoping to place a BOGO order at the window. You will be left chicken-less.

Popeyes shook the world with the debut of its chicken sandwich on August 12th, 2019. Locations across the country were met with long lines, resulting in a few tussles over who would get their sandwich first. In fact, the urge for the sandwich spilled over, leading to the senseless murder of a young man who allegedly cut another customer in line in November 2019. Due to the massive demand, the company was forced to do away with the sandwich briefly.

While the panic surrounding the sandwich has died down, lines can still be seen wrapped around any Popeyes building, with eager customers awaiting their favorite breaded meal.

Download the Popeyes app today to enjoy the famed chicken sandwich before 2023 rolls in.
