Everyone has been honoring Prince in their own special way, so who better to honor him, than his own band.
Prince’s band, The Revolution, will soon host a collection of reunion performances following the legendary singer’s unexpected death this past Thursday.
The legendary band announced the news in a Facebook video post, complete with members Brown Mark, Bobby Z., Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman and Matt “Doctor” Fink.
In the video they explain, “We have decided after spending three or four days together now grieving over the loss of Prince that we would like to come out and do some shows. We want to let you know that we’ll be there soon, so we want to let you know now.”
Dates and further details about the reunion plans haven’t been released yet.
The Revolution has been with Prince since 1979 starting in Minneapolis but wasn’t officially tagged as “The Revolution” until 1984.
