During his appearance on The Big Homies House Podcast, Ralo didn’t sugarcoat the mindset behind his past decisions.
“Sometimes you be happy with a crashout,” he explained to hosts Big Homie Kodaq and Tamira Smith. “It’s certain s**t that I done did and went to jail for, and I was like, yeah, I did, and I’m happy.”
Having served time in prison, the Atlanta staple reflected on the moments where even solitary confinement felt justified.
“I done been in jail and crashed out and went to the hole, and I’m like yeah. I’ll sit in this motherf**ker for however long it take and was happy with the results.”
Still, the 30-year-old acknowledged the weight of his actions now that he’s back in his kids’ lives after serving six years behind bars before his 2023 release.
“I got five kids,” he said. “I don’t want my kids to be p***y.”
Furthermore, the rapper says if a crashout leads to death, he wants his children to at least know that he stood his ground.
“They need to know that they dad wasn’t goin'” he added.
