Cornerback Derion Kendrick was on the field for 87% of the snaps for the Los Angeles Rams in their home victory this past Sunday over the Arizona Cardinals.
During the game, the baller registered two tackles and by Sunday, evening he was registered in County Jail.Â
Kendrick was booked at 2:15 a.m. Monday morning in Los Angeles County on a charge of felony gun possession. The 23-year Rock Hill native’s arrest was confirmed by the Rams Monday afternoon.
“We’re continuing to gather more information on that(the arrest),” Coach Sean McVay said of the arrest. “Until then I’m gonna just kind of leave it at that until I have all the appropriate information. I don’t think it would be appropriate for me to speak on things that I don’t have the totality of it, other than knowing that he was arrested early this morning and that’s kind of where we’re kind of at at that.”
The former sixth-round pick and Georgia graduate is one of the team’s most consistent players in the secondary. A mistake I know he’ll learn from if he wants to continue to play.
