One Veneer Wish: Ray J Kicks Off the Year with a Smile Makeover [Video]

Ray J kicked off the year with a new set of chompers and cannot stop smiling.

The R&B singer and reality TV star treated himself to a fresh set of veneers. The transformation was crafted by New York dentist Dr. Daniel, who shared a video capturing Ray J’s reaction after the procedure.

“Hey, damn,” Ray J exclaimed as he gazed at his reflection, flashing a grin. He was quick to compliment Dr. Daniel, calling him “a true scientist.”

“Man, I was doing bad. Now, I’m doing good. Look at that,” he marveled, clearly impressed. Walking over to a monitor showing his old teeth, Ray J described them as “not acceptable.”

“To have this kind of talent is blessed from God,” Ray J told Dr. Daniel. “Dan, you just laid them all out.”

Ray J and Dr. Daniel share a long-standing relationship, with the “Wait a Minute” star first visiting his office as early as 2022 for his dental work. In addition, other celebrities have visited Dr. Daniel for a new smile including Jermaine Dupri and Casanova.

As veneers continue to take over the entertainment world, Ray J is among a growing list of celebrities upgrading their smiles. Others like 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, G Herbo, and Moneybagg Yo have embraced the trend. Notably, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory recently got in on the action, opting for a smile makeover in Miami after serving years behind bars for cocaine trafficking. He was so impressed with his results that he sent his mother to also get in on the action.
