Ray Lewis III, the son of Baltimore Ravens legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis Jr., has passed away. He was 28.
While details surrounding his death have not been released, Lewis’ younger brother, Rahsaan, confirmed the tragic news on Instagram Thursday.
“Really can’t believe I’m even typing this but RIP big brother,” he wrote in his Instagram Stories.
He continued, “A true angel I pray your at peace now because IK how much you was rlly hurtin. I don’t and won’t ever have the words man cuz this pain right here….I love you I love you I love you.”
Adding that, “Your niece gone miss you but she will hear about u over and over just watch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I’ll make you smile and proud.”
Ray III had an impressive high school career at Lake Mary Prep H.S. in Florida, where he excelled as a running back which earned him opportunities to play on the college level at the University of Miami, Coastal Carolina and Virginia Union.
