Reginae Carter recently opened up about her past relationship with rapper YFN Lucci during an interview with Carlos King, revealing that she might have supported him throughout his incarceration—if not for his involvement with another woman.

“Honestly, I was young…I was probably willing to wait. But like you see, he has a girlfriend now. That’s been around,” she admitted to King.

Carter and Lucci began dating in 2018, and their relationship was highly publicized. In 2021, Lucci was arrested on racketeering and gang-related charges, leading to questions about whether Carter would remain by his side. While she initially showed support, their relationship ultimately ended. The 26-year-old shared that the woman was around during their time together, though she does not hold any grudges.

“I feel like I forgive him, too, because at the end of the day, I was young. So it’s like, hey, and it’s certain things that probably that girl would do that I probably wasn’t gonna do. And that’s just what it is,” she explained. “So it’s like, I mean, you have to give and take. But I definitely am happy for him. I’m glad that he’s out with his family and happy.”

Since their split, the actress and reality TV star has focused on her career, while Lucci has reunited with his loved ones following his recent release from jail. Despite their history, she has stated that she will not be spinning the block with her ex.
