Relationship Guru Derrick Jaxn Announces He And His Wife Da’Naia Jackson Have Filed For Divorce

Relationship coach Derrick Jaxn announces his divorce from his wife Da’Naia Jackson.

Just a few weeks after Da’Naia harshly criticized the naysayers for speaking negatively about her marriage, Derrick reveals they have filed for divorce.

In an Instagram post, the relationship coach said the decision came after the couple attempted to save their marriage through marital counseling.

“Earlier this year after much prayer, counseling, and deep consideration, we decided to go our separate ways and filed for divorce,” Derrick wrote.

He continued, “Making the decision to file was one of the hardest decisions of my life. But I’ve found peace knowing that our mission of raising healthy children, starting with healthy and whole parents is still being accomplished.”

The couple were married for four years and faced a major scandal in 2021 after Derrick was exposed by his mistress. A woman named Candice De Medeiros came forward and said she had slept with Derrick numerous times. She added that she had even been in the home he shared with his wife and children.

Following the scandal, the couple made a video together addressing the infidelity and Da’Naia said that she had forgiven him and wanted to start a new chapter. However, she did add that she initially left Derrick after finding about his mistress.

“I agree with people saying that there is no justification for bringing other women into our marriage … when I found out about it, I left,” Da’Naia said. “I did not come back until I saw a shift or a change in his mentality.”

Da’Naia has not addressed the divorce news just yet.
