Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are having another child through a surrogate.
The couples already have a child of their own named Ace, who they welcomed back in 2016. But like most, one bundle of joy can inspire the want for another. “The Real Housewives” item told U.S. Weekly they are almost done picking out the woman who will be their surrogate. “We did find someone, and right now we are in the process – you know it hasn’t been done – but we’re in the process,” Burruss, 42, said.
Burruss expressed that surrogacy is still very new and makes her “nervous.” “Like, I don’t have anybody who can tell me [about it],” she added. “When we were going through the IVF process, I did have a couple of friends who had done it, so, you know, I could talk to them, but this is a situation where I don’t have anybody I can talk to.”
The couple has two female embryos and is looking to use them to add to their family. Both Tucker and Burruss have daughters from previous relationships, according to Page Six.
