Rich Homie Quan Gets Joint Custody of Son, Gives Him His Last Name

Rich Homie Quan is looking to make up for lost time and legitimize his role as a father to his four-year-old son, Royal Rich Williams. 

According to the Blast, the rapper, whose real name is Dequantes Lamar, filed legal docs for legitimation and custody of his son, Royal.

With the consent of his girlfriend and baby mama, Amber Williams, Quan requested joint legal and physical custody, and to be legally recognized as his father. He also asked for his son’s name to be changed from Royal Rich Williams to Royal Rich Lamar, the publication reports. 

However, Quan’s docs did not make mention of any child support, as his girlfriend, Williams revealed it is not needed because the two live together in Georgia and are in a relationship. She also agreed to the terms of his request for the name change and joint custody.
