Rick Ross is back in his storytelling bag, and this time he’s turning heads with a wild claim involving 50 Cent’s son, Sire Jackson. In a recent social media video, Ross dropped a surprising flex—saying he once took Sire fishing while the child’s mother, Daphne Joy, was allegedly spending time at Diddy’s house.
Ross, referring to the boy as “Bruce Leroy,” casually explained that someone DM’d him asking if he and 50 were beefing or battle rapping. His answer? No beef here. Instead, he went down memory lane, saying he saw Sire walking around Star Island, and while Daphne was “creating content,” he invited the young boy over to his estate and taught him how to fish.
“I put bread on the line, and I watched Bruce Leroy catch his first Dover sole,” Ross said with pride. “I felt proud. Little man, what’s up though?”

The story didn’t come without layers. Daphne Joy, the mother of Sire, was caught in the middle of a media storm earlier this year after she was named in a lawsuit involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. While she denied the explosive claims, the incident pushed 50 Cent to seek sole custody of Sire, citing concerns about Joy’s environment.
That sparked a back-and-forth, with Daphne accusing 50 of past abuse—allegations he firmly denied. He later filed a defamation suit, demanding over $1 million in damages, only to drop it months later.
Meanwhile, Rick Ross has continued trolling 50 Cent in subtle and not-so-subtle ways, often involving references to Sire. He once joked about buying the child a puppy and now claims to have mentored him during a quiet moment at home—while implying Diddy and Daphne were elsewhere, presumably occupied.
Whether it’s trolling, storytelling, or subtle shade, one thing’s clear: Ross knows how to stir a conversation. And with this latest tale, he’s once again placed himself squarely in the middle of hip-hop’s most personal feud.
