Amid the sexual assault allegations brought forth against Russell Simmons, one woman is looking to cash out over her own alleged incident.
According to TMZ, more than a dozen women have accused the Hip-hop mogul of sexual misconduct, including rape from the ’80’s to early 2000s.
However, in a new lawsuit obtained by the publication, Jennifer Jarosik says she was a victim in an incident as recent as last year. According to Jarosik, Simmons invited her to her house in 2016 and asked her for sex. When she declined, Simmons reportedly became aggressive and forced her onto his bed.

Jarosik claims she tried to fight Simmons off, but as the two struggled she was knocked off the bed and hit her head. That is when Simmons reportedly got on top of her and raped her.

According to TMZ, Jarosik said she met Simmons back in 2006, and they bonded over their lifestyle similarities. However, after the alleged rape, she says she was rendered “sick, sore, lame, disabled and disordered, both internally and externally and suffered from extreme emotional distress.”

As a result, Jarosik is asking for $5 million in punitive damages and unspecified amount of actual damages.
