Sada Baby is facing legal trouble in Michigan.
The Detroit rapper, born Casada Aaron Sorrell, was arrested on Tuesday in Sterling Heights and is currently being held without bond, according to online jail records.
Authorities say the rapper was taken into custody on charges of possessing a controlled substance under 25 grams. The Sterling Heights Police Department is listed as the arresting agency.
This week’s arrest appears connected to an earlier incident in January, where Sada was arrested on a warrant for driving without a license. During that stop, officers reported finding “illegal contraband,” though no specific details were provided at the time. A new warrant was later issued related to possession.
As of now, Sada Baby remains in custody.
The arrest comes shortly after the release of Sada’s latest project, Bridge Kard Blessings, which dropped in March. The 14-track tape includes the remix to JMSN’s “Soft Spot” and follows his 2023 release, SkuBop.
This is a developing story.
