A second person was arrested in connection to the mass shooting that took place outside a Miami-Dade banquet hall over Memorial Day weekend.
20-year-old Warneric Buckner confessed to being one of the men who fired into the crowd standing outside of the El Mula Banquet Hall on May 30. He’s also accused of being the passenger in the front seat of the Nissan Pathfinder seen on surveillance video.
Buckner has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, 20 counts of attempted first-degree murder and carrying a concealed firearm. He appeared in court on Thursday morning and was denied bond.
Just last month, 22-year-old Devonta Barnes was named the first arrest in the case. He faces similar charges.
