Sexyy Red took a surprising turn into country music with a guest appearance at Zach Bryan’s concert in St. Louis, her hometown. The rapper, known for her hit “Rich Baby Daddy,” took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday (May 4) to express her gratitude to Bryan for the invitation. Bryan had earlier hyped up her appearance by referring to St. Louis as the “HOME OF @sexyyred” in a social media post.
During the concert at the Enterprise Center, Sexyy Red joined Bryan on stage for his encore performance of the 2020 song “Revival.” True to her dynamic stage presence, she entertained the crowd with her signature twerking.

The blending of hip hop and country music has been gaining traction, largely influenced by Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” album. This cross-genre exploration is documented in “Call Me Country,” a new documentary produced by CNN FlashDocs. According to Warner Brothers Discovery, the film delves into the current revolution in country music which is becoming increasingly inclusive, although resistance still exists within the industry.
Adding to the hip hop-country fusion, in April, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre revamped their 1993 hit “Gin & Juice” for a country audience with the help of Hardy, a rising star in country music. Hardy released the track on April 19, sharing that the collaboration was initiated by Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg, who personally requested his cover for the launch of their new beverage, Gin & Juice.
