Former Los Angeles Lakers Guard Shannon Brown was arrested last week after allegedly pulling a gun on two people at his Georgia home.
The incident occurred on May 2 after an open house visit took a turn for the worse.
According to TMZ, police say the alleged victims arrived at Brown’s Georgia home after seeing a “For Sale” sign. The two reportedly entered through an open gate, and as they approached the door and announced their presence, the two were told to enter.
However, upon entry, police say Brown “emerged holding a rifle.” As the two tried to leave the scene, Brown reportedly fired five to six shots in their direction,” according to the report.
The two called the cops around 9:45 pm to report the incident from earlier in the day. After a quick investigation, officials found one shell casing in the area, and Brown was then arrested for aggravated assault.
However, according to the International Business Times, Brown said he thought the two were breaking into his house. The incident is still under investigation.
Brown was bonded out of jail on May 4.
