‘RHOA’ Star Shereé Whitfield Says Kim Zolciak Is “Not Doing Well” Amid Divorce From Kroy Biermann: “She’s Taking It Really Bad” [Video]

Shereé Whitfield is giving insight into her former RHOA co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s current state amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann.

On Sunday, Whitfield joined Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ where she was asked if she’s been in touch with Kim since the news broke.

“I am in touch with her, and I was shocked. I thought her and Kroy [were] going to be forever. I’m really sad for them,” Whitfield said.

She added,  “I’ve been in contact with her, and she’s not doing well. She’s not doing well. No, she’s taking it really bad.”

Last month, the couple both filed for divorce after spending more than a decade together. The Biermann’s tied the knot in 2011, and shortly after the wedding, Kroy adopted Kim’s two daughters–Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21. The estranged couple also shares minor children, Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9.

In Kroy’s divorce paperwork, he demands “the temporary and permanent sole legal and sole physical custody” of their four children.  Meanwhile, Kim’s filing came days after she filed a motion to have Kroy take a drug test. Kim added that she didn’t think her children were safe under Kroy’s care.

However, a source previously said the Biermann’s relationship changed for the worse after they suffered financial problems.

“The financial burdens have been a strain on their relationship,” the source said.  “Between the tax debt and other financial stresses, it’s been difficult. The tax debt was the straw that broke the camel’s back in their marriage.”
