Congrats are in order for Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Texans DB Jonathan Owens who just got engaged.
The 24-year-old gold medalist took to Instagram Tuesday to share the good news.
“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles shared on her Instagram post. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”
“Ready for forever with you,” Owens, 26, replied to his future wifey.
Biles and Owens went Instagram-official in August 2020 after connecting on social media in March. She previously shared how their relationship began after she slid in his DMs in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
‘He would say I slid into his DMs,’ she told the WSJ. ‘I saw him and I was like, “Oh, he’s pretty cute,” so I said hi … and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later.’
Congrats to the couple!
