Brett Favre‘s SiriusXM show has been placed “on hold” in the midst of the Mississippi welfare fraud case.

SiriusXM Radio has temporarily paused Favre’s radio show “The SiriusXM Blitz With Brett Favre and Bruce Murray” over allegations that Favre worked with the former governor of Mississippi, Phil Bryant, to take funds from the states welfare fund to financially support his alma mater, the University of Southern Mississippi, where his daughter played volleyball as a student.

According to new court documents, Favre allegedly solidified millions of dollars in welfare funding that was misdirected to illegally pay for an indoor football practice facility, a volleyball facility, among other sports facilities. Fox News reports show Favre “continued to press” Gov. Phil Bryant even though he mentioned that the act could be illegal.

Favre and other defendants are allegedly responsible for stealing at least $77 million in funds, and it’s now the largest case of public fraud in the state’s history, Fox News reports. John Davis, former director of the Mississippi Department of Human Services, has already pleaded guilty to federal and state felony charges in the case.
