Skai Jackson is accusing her baby daddy of several serious offenses.
The actress filed for a restraining order in Los Angeles after what she describes as a violent Mother’s Day encounter with Deondre Burgin. In court documents, Jackson alleges Burgin grabbed her by the hair, slammed her head into a car window, and punched her in the face, while she was holding their 3-month-old son, Kasai.
According to Jackson, this wasn’t an isolated event. She details months of abuse starting in early 2024, claiming weekly attacks involving choking, scratching, and slamming her head against walls. She says he destroyed her property, including a phone and a TV.
One of the most harrowing allegations involves Burgin demanding she drink bleach to abort the baby and threatening to stab her while she was pregnant.
“He held a knife and said he would stab me in the stomach if I screamed,” she wrote.
Jackson also recounts an incident last summer where she locked herself in a bathroom.
“He punched through the door, slammed me into the wall, and choked me until I couldn’t breathe,” she wrote.
She says she has video proof of this attack.
At the time of Kasai’s birth, Burgin was serving a 90-day sentence for a parole violation. Jackson adds that he owns three firearms and she’s genuinely afraid for her safety. She’s asking the court to keep him away, force him into a domestic violence program, and handle child support and her legal fees.
